Unlocking the entrepreneur in Scotland’s public servants

In times of austerity public sector organisations are looking for new, innovative ways to reduce expenditure and increase efficiency. This is not only relevant in light of the up-coming re-election of the Scottish Parliament in May, but is equally important for the people working within public services who are looking for direction and leadership to drive a confident route through times of economic pressure.

CIPFA Conference 
One of the events looking to address this issue head-on is the CIPFA Scotland Public Finance Conference and the focus this year is on harnessing entrepreneurial leadership through times of austerity by dropping the traditional barriers between the public and private sectors to allow true collaboration and knowledge transfer.
