United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust Selects Integra from iSOFT Business Solutions

Capita IB Solutions, a market leader in providing world-class financial management, e-Procurement and bespoke solutions to service-centric organisations, has today announced that United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has selected iSOFT Business Solutions to provide its Finance and eProcurement solution for the next five years, in a contract worth just under £400,000.
The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has served the people of Lincolnshire since April 2000. Its wide range of healthcare services are delivered by 7,800 highly trained staff and volunteers, and it has an annual turnover of £360m. The Trust went out to a full OJEU procurement, and, after a very rigorous process, selected Integra over the rest of the competition.
One of the most important aspects of the system for the Trust was e-Procurement, and it was felt that Integra provided a user-friendly and flexible solution with significant potential. Coupled with the newly developed supplier catalogue management tool, it gives the Trust the greatest opportunity to deliver the many benefits associated with electronic Purchase to Pay.
The Trust has participated in the NHS e-enablement group, which is set up to push forward electronic procurement in the NHS, and, as such, it was very important that the Trust selected a system that could demonstrate the ability to deliver now, and to develop quickly as new initiatives are identified.
