Macquarie University Hospital Selects Integra Open Enterprise to Streamline Financial Processes

Capita IB Solutions, a market leader in providing world-class financial management, e-Procurement and bespoke solutions to service-centric organisations, has today announced that Macquarie University Hospital has signed a contract to implement capita IB Solutions' Integra Open Enterprise financial management applications to help enhance its financial operations and develop overall business processes.

The 180-plus-bed hospital in Sydney, Australia, will provide a combination of clinical care, medical research and advanced medical scholarship. This will be the fulfilment of a vision to create a different type of hospital, where the best possible patient care will be provided through the application of academic medicine.

Macquarie University Hospital selected the Integra financial applications due, in part, to selecting other iSOFT Group applications and to the company's expertise in the healthcare market. In particular, the hospital will look to the new Integra applications to help eliminate manual administrative processes and to simplify reporting and purchasing by improving data access.

In deploying Integra Open Enterprise, Macquarie University Hospital expects to gain considerable savings in time and effort, while significantly improving the accuracy of its financial operations.
