iSOFT Business Solutions partners with NEP to deliver an NHS Performance Management solution
Capita IB Solutions, a market leader in providing world-class finance and procurement software and bespoke solutions to service-centric organisations, today announced that it has won a contract to work in partnership with NEP Shared System Group to provide a world-class Performance Management platform to the NHS.
The partnership will see NEP and capita IB Solutions implement Oracle Hyperion, a proven market leader with superior end-user reporting and analysis tools, unparalleled ease of use and rapid implementation; the Hyperion solution will help NEP customers with today's complex NHS financial reporting requirements.
The agreement extends an existing partnership with NEP, in which Capita IB Solutions hosts and manages the current Oracle NEP shared system platform.
Eamonn Morris, Managing Director of Capita IB Solutions, said, "We are very pleased to be partnering with NEP. This takes Capita IB Solutions into an important new area of the health sector, where we believe this integrated performance management system will be well received." Eamonn continues "Over the last twelve months NEP Shared System Group has been working with its clients' finance teams, identifying where they can best support their clients in meeting the increasingly complex NHS environment. The findings highlighted a need for a solution that offered centralised, cost-effective performance management and that supported Planning and Budgeting, Forecasting, Service Line Reporting and Financial Board Packs."
Crucially, the solution also needed to provide a flexible platform to support NHS Organisations' future information analysis needs, such as IFRS Reporting, Patient Costing, TFR3 and Workforce Planning.
"NEP and Capita IB Solutions have had an extremely successful partnership for more than seven years, working collaboratively to providing our customers with comprehensive innovative financial and procurement solution," said Christine Hall, Associate Programme Director, NEP Shared System Group. "With the recent introduction of 'Hyperion' the integration into the NEP System provides our members with a leading edge World Class Business solution that meets the demands of an ever changing NHS."
The first NHS Organisations are on target to go live on the system in November 2009.
