Hart District Council given the green light for accounts
Hart District Council has been given the green light for their accounts dated 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014 in the annual Statement of Accounts.
External audit have reviewed Hart District Councils accounts and have concluded that the Council have smoothly introduced a new finance system, produced a good set of accounts which are free from errors, and shown good management of finances.
The report also shows that the Council is providing value for money from the services that it provides, making good use of the resources that it has. It continues to state that there has been no significant risk to the governance framework and the way in which the Council operates.
Cllr Ken Crookes, Leader of Hart District Council, said:
“These accounts show our residents and businesses within the district that we are financially well managed and are transparent in our actions. We will work hard to maintain this standard.”
